Y’all check out my super smart salad! Smart? Like how? Yea! Like the Samsung smart TV. Do not test me, I’ve aced already. I can instruct this salad to talk. It has so many nutrients including vitamins, minerals, protein, cabs … I can dialogue with. In fact, if I want I can dial up protein, or ping cabs… yes! I can do all that. Right now, I just want to Tumblr on the fruit. This is a super smart salad, no kidding hey! It has the perfect blend of a balanced diet. Stay with me….

My super smart salad allows you to do all those ‘smart’ things you do with a smart TV Set. For instance, a smart TV comes with video conferencing, I can share my salad with friends and family real time without internet brouhaha. My dinning is my conference room. My social integration is so much on point! My eating spoon is the remote. I can decide to take a chunk of the pomegranate arils or squeeze out the blueberry juice for additional excitement. (more…)

The Culture of Haters

HatersGonnaHate

CULTURE OF HATERS

The power you give to an opinion can become a stumbling block or stepping stone for your progress. In this piece I want to consider when an opinion is aimed at bringing down rather than building up. No one has ever existed without the ‘haters club’ or escape the backlash of the disciples of conspiracy. In front of many; people like Pope, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela or Mahatma Gandhi, even Jesus can do no good. Yet they went on to fulfill their assignment. Sometimes we give spine to the thoughts of those who don’t pay the bill.

Where are these haters? They are everywhere. Not just that random guy who messes up your tweets or that old friend who disses you on Instagram. They are everywhere. They are in workplace, community and even family members. To move ahead, you do not need not look for them but past them. (more…)

Myles_MunroeWords can’t express how heartbroken am I when I heard the tragic news about one of my mentors. His books, tapes and teachings have inspired me. It was confirmed he died on a plane crash enroute global leadership forum, Bahamas. Among people in the plane was his wife, daughter and seven other passengers.

The Bahamas Tribune reports that;

The plane reportedly struck a crane at the Grand Bahama Ship Yard, exploding on impact and crashing into the ground near a junkyard area.

#The plane left LPIA at 4.07pm with nine people on board and crashed while making an approach for landing at Grand Bahama International Airport at 5.10pm, the Department of Civil Aviation said.

Dr. Myles Munroe (20 April 1954 – 9 November 2014) was the president and founder of the Bahamas Faith Ministries International (BFMI) and Myles Munroe International (MMI), a Christian growth and resource center that includes leadership training institutes, a missions agency, a publishing company, a television network, radio and Web communications, and a church community. Seven Ways To Dealing With Heartbreak

dealingwithbreakups

How do you recover from a broken heart? You gave your time, money, your patience, your body and your secrets out and it’s all thrown back at you like a piece of trash. Oh yes, most of us must have gone through familiar cycle of desertion in relationship or marriage. ‘How do I continue, even If I pretend? I cannot sleep in the night. The ache I feel in my soul cannot be assuaged by the most profound combinations of pills. Is this life? Get trodden or trolled? You’re a loser in both ways.’ Read Dianne full story below;

I got back from a really stressful day at work at the new site of my interior design project. I sipped some juice, clear out the garbage for the council and hurriedly navigate down the community soccer field in the suburbs. I promised my daughter I was going to attend the evening soccer game where she’s the goal. I’d expected Brad to meet me up at the venue.

I was fully immersed into the game now that it is a tie and both teams pressing hard into each other’s box 32 to edge a win. It is 7:30 in the evening, but Brad is yet to show up. Time clocks forward, game is over, it finished with a 2-2 tie, and time is quarter past 8, still no show or scintilla of Brad. This is unusual of my boyfriend of the last three and the half years. The Beautiful Attraction and Distraction of the Feminine Gender

mlaw

Have you ever considered the world made of only men? That would have been the most unimaginable boring world. In popular old culture, the masculine gender runs the show. They are everywhere, from the factory, office to the fore front of technological advancement. Could this be that the ‘man’ is the only entity that can keep the human race and animal world fueled.

When you look into history either through the lens of the evolution of man by Charles Darwin or creation as documented in the book of genesis. The man is a product of the woman, yet the woman is the by-product of the man, so the man is intertwined with the woman. ‘Wo-man’, not only is a man with womb but a man with much width- the curves and cleavages. Say no more, son! (more…)

You start panicking about a loved one in hospital and you possibly don’t know if you are to find tenancy in the wards or stay home or take time off work. FIVE THINGS ADULTS DO

welcome-to-reality

Adulthood is not age 18 above, adults are people who can fess up and create the world they want and yet ready to take responsibilities for the choices they make in life. Maturity is not age, it is ability to express oneself within the bounds of dignity. In fact, there is no such thing as maturity, we are constantly evolving. At least, an adult is matured enough to make changes in their life rather than make excuses. Check out what adults do day in day out

WORK

He who must eat, must work. When you are younger probably you couldn’t care less about work. Dad and mum or the social service must provide food on the table. When you become a full adult, time for play dials down. If we sleep for 30% of our lives, you can imagine we probably work more, for at least 35% if you are lucky. Adulthood sometimes looks like a prankster, it just tricks you. Before you say Jack Robinson, you got dunked! (more…)

There Is No Excuse

excopA natural man justifies all his actions

It is easy to make excuse

It is easy to blame everyone

The government and the institutions suffers us

Well, there is no excuse

I was supposed to post this piece a week ago, and I reason what is my excuse? Work and family commitments, yet I find time watching fight compilations on vine! Do I want to become a street fighter or challenge Floyd Mayweather Jr for his titles? Nah! Common! I’m better than that- So I hurriedly had to push this through, better late than ever. Forgive the error, get the message. What do we have here>>>>>>>> (more…)

SORRY! YOU CAME LATE TO THE PARTY

This is a follow up on my previous post….platform- http://ablethoughts.me/2014/08/11/the-platform/

There can be only one most beautiful girl in the world, one US open champion, one super bowl champion, one US open champion. Congrats to Serena Williams on her 18th Grand Slam. These are platforms that are filled in, some yearly, and others bi-annually. Reason why every girl cannot be the most beautiful girl, or all billionaires the richest in the world. (more…)
