There is strength in bravery
The wisdom of fowl is cock and roost
The mandate of man is ‘to conquer’
We are not fowl, we transcends all
Do not sleep in danger of your office
Our role is to rise above all encumbrances.

Everything is Mathematics
It is the beginning of spring down here south and I joined the fellas for a game of soccer for the first time in the year. I noticed changes in people and the vibe was different compared to the previous season. Halfway into our warm-ups, a fight ensued between two ladies who came to cheer their man friends. I was flabbergasted that two young ladies in their twenties who appeared decent in demeanor could result into fatal violence in open field. We paused the session to stop the scuffle but it seems a larger sect would like to see the end of the fight. In fact, it was like a round match of women UFC match, only that I do not think these ones have insurance to cover injuries suffered from broken bottles.
There it dawned on me that everything is mathematics. Mathematics resolve truth by seeking out patterns, permutations, shapes, motions, logic, structure, change, space,… probability. (more…)
The Palace of Mistakes
Welcome to realness. This guy spits some real.
The breadth of life’s daily up and down is the time clock of our very existence. The world is a beauty of imperfect souls in a perfect space of time. The critical member of this imperfection is the boodle of mistakes we commit in our endeavor to a better expression of self.
We are often relegated to the thought that the mistakes we make defines us as we are all human. I resent such character appropriation. How we ‘right’ our wrongs defines us. No matter how deepened are the wounds, sullen the relationship or messy that fallout; we failing to act to correct our wrongs is building a comfy palace of mistakes. (more…)
Living In The Past
One of the best decisions in life one can make is dealing with present reality by managing attending situations of life within contemporary means. It is often said that it is the decisions made and actions undertaken in the past that brought us where we are now. That is looking at it from a systemic angle.
With life come choices and chances. There is different between stand-up and stand-up now. You can easily recall how many times you came late to the party (delayed in taking a necessary step to achieving a portion of success). Mind you, the world comes with its surprises. Even the most gifted aren’t the most celebrated but the fortunate. We are fortunate with a lot of things but who can discern the unfortunate circumstances of life. The designer of the universe knows better than we mortals. (more…)

Selfishness is Good Business
The journey of life is not complete in the entirety of its existence when apt privileges fail to serve its very purpose. The long drive to be successful and accomplished is deeply in-grained in the human DNA, whether it is for the better or worse of the lot. Regardless, the glory of self comes to play in the theatre of dreams.
Selfishness is often seen as a dark expression of oneself over the common good. In some school of thoughts, it is seen as the root cause of the ills in the society. At the tail end of all contemporary issues we face in the world, you’ll trace scintilla of self coming to play big time. Terrorism, corruption, crime, scam, homicide and abuse; all emanated from the selfish ideology of some few. (more…)

25 Reasons Why You Should Not Marry
The thought of marriage can be scary in this pop culture where the institution has been rightly maligned by the very parties that should have upheld the tenets of the union ‘the husband and the wife’. Marriage is not a playing ground; neither is it a testing site to practice the craft of bonding. It is Showtime and many couple falters as expectations become farther from reality day by day.
When I was younger, I told my dad that marriage is not meant for me just because I do not want to be hurt or hurt someone. But then in my culture, it is expected after school, get a job. When gainfully employed, marriage should be your next agenda. A year later everyone, even your pets are expecting your first born, and this be done at age 30.
In my little exposure and from years of counseling others, I have come to understand that marriage is not meant for everyone. And it will be good for someone to understand what is being requested of the institution and ask ‘am I cut for all these’? Below I highlight from my own experience 25 reasons why you should not marry; (more…)
Charlie Hebdo: Ready To Die For An Idea
A terrible start for year 2015. The world paused for a moment second week into the new year when devilish terrorists attacked France’s satirical weekly tabloid, Charlie Hebdo (French slang word for weekly) right in the heart of Paris. A city known for political tranquil and constituted freedom of expression. It would appear some are still living in the bondage of their idiotic ideology that believe it is the sleet of thunder in-substitute of rain that grows garden flowers. It was an untold turbulence and the world peace melted but for a second if at all any part of the world experience ceaseless dews of bliss. (more…)
New Year Resolution: Offloading Deadweight
As we are gearing up into the New Year, this moment is the perfect time to review, reflect and react. Consider yourself as a ship that has limited capacity on what it can accommodate for it to transit between shores. When a ship is overloaded, it begins to sink because it is running on over capacity.
The year 2014 probably for most of us came with its ups and down, peak and valley, wax and wane. At the beginning of the year, most of us had that thought of what we hope to achieve at the turn of the year. Some of us even penned this down to keep track of goals as they are being met. However, as for many of us, it was all a dream that never materialized. Would you know what is holding you back? (more…)
