There is a hole in my heart, every day is a blessing

I have health issues but my daily task is met

I lost my job but I must survive

This morning was shitty but I made it to work

They are trying to pull me down but still floating

Hunger fought me for days, tap water to the rescue

I lost the fight, my back to training ground

My back aches daily at the mill, I still give my best

When I couldn’t afford, I sought for joy

The pain is not cheap but I survive

I lost my sight but not my insight

…..

Darkness always try to overcome but my traffic light is on. There is no traffic on the extra mile.

Expectations let down, every circumstance is a test

A full take of bad mouth and bad friend, my attitude on point

Every day, I smile, for this is just the beginning.
